***FOR GENERAL PURPOSE (NON-PIV) VERSION RUU ***

Confirm the following versions of software and firmware:

Software: V2.14.1.6 (viewed in Help/About…)
Firmware: 3.1.4.11_Futronic for Futronic FP Sensor (viewed on LCD upon power up…)
Firmware: 3.1.4.11_CSD200 for CSD200 FP Sensor (viewed on LCD upon power up…)

IMPORTANT NOTE! Before flashing (downloading) any firmware into the RUU device, please read the important technical bulletin at the root directory of this CD regarding a change in the fingerprint sensor.

NOTES: 
1. Be sure latest version of software is installed.
2. Launch shortcut/start selected is linked to the latest version (check installed folder location) and not old versions. 
3. Before launching make sure previous/other versions of RUU software and the BioGate listener in the task bar are all shutdown.
4. RUU Configuration Software and Biogate Listener are specific to each version RUU. The matching software must be used with the matching firmware. PIV software with PIV firmware, GENERAL PURPOSE software with GENERAL PURPOSE firmware, and CAC software with CAC firmware.
5. After RUU devices have received a firmware change/update, be sure to re-download configuration at least once after new firmware is installed even if there are no changes in the configuration itself. This can be easily accomplished by deleting and re-adding the RUU in the Device Management\Access Control menu with the RUU connected and receiving the newly added configuration.
