CCM Ver.
7.4.29 Release Notes
December 2008
Most customers may download the binary file through Velocity and do not
need to physically replace their CCM.
Customers that may benefit from this
DIGI*Trac release have one or
more of these:
● Function Groups with many extensions (or many, many Function Groups)
● "Custom 21" IDF 2 credentials using a Function Group
● A need to save Transaction and Internal Event messages until "after hours"
New features
● CMD 98*41*7*4*1*0 to hold Transactions/Internal Events
● CMD 98*41*7*4*0*0* to release held Transactions/Internal Events
Defects fixed
● The card code "pass-through" option was not registering as a "null extension" when function groups were used on card-only credentials. (Defect 180)
● Attempting to add a Function Group Extension when there are already 255 defined for that controller will no longer cause the controller to reboot. (Defect 184)
Known limitations
● Until Velocity has native support for the new embedded LCD display, it
is necessary to add a command 403*READER*65*72# for each reader that has an LCD
unit.
● The "Hold Transactions and Internal Events" option is meant to be used by a
scheduled command set. During the period that the event messages are held in the
controller's buffer, a number of things won't work as expected on Velocity
including Graphics/Show Credential Information, Status Viewer/Threat Level, Tool
Bar/Threat Level, Who's Inside, Photo pop-up, Trigger actions, E-mail writer,
Serial port writer, XML writer, Message queue writer, VIO (Velocity Integrated
Objects) and Report Manager won't work for the events that are suppressed.
This document covers changes to the CCM since 7.4.25.
